This memorial website was created in the memory of our little baby, Amy Lora Apps who was born in United Kingdom on the Isle of Wight on January 29, 2006 and passed away on February 13, 2006 . We will love you and miss you forever.
An angel on earth, an angel in heaven, our loss is heavens gain
Amy was born at 4:58am on the 29th of January 2006. She was so beautiful and perfect and in no time at all she was bright and alert and taking notice of whoever was around her (including the tv!)

She has a brilliant big brother, Justin who's 5, who used to love cuddling her and she was so relaxed with him. He was so proud to be a big brother and was very caring, loving and protective of her.
She loved her milk and was putting on weight brilliantly. Any checks that the midwifes and health visitors gave her she passed with flying colours. The midwifes were amazed at how well she was doing considering a very difficult labour. She was a very very good baby and only let out a slight cry if she was hungry or needed changing. She used to pretend to be hungry sometimes but it was just a trick to get a cuddle! She loved a cuddle!
She loved her milk and if you tried to give her a dummy it would annoy her that there was nothing in it!
She didn't like to go out in the cold and would much prefer to stay at home with her family having a sleep and a cuddle.
We missed out on doing so much with her but she gave us the most perfect 15 days any parents could ever wish for. The time we spent with her will always be in our hearts and our memories. Everyone she met could never forget her, she was perfect.
When she passed away and we found out why we were stunned at how brave she had been. Unknown to us she had DiGeorge syndrom which is a chromosone defect that caused her to be born without a thymus gland (so she had no immune system) and with a massive hole in her heart but not once did she cry or whimper, she was better than any baby you could meet The first we knew about it was when her heart failed on the 13th of February 2006.
There were so many people at her funeral and the amount of flowers was amazing and me and my wife were really proud of our dads when they carried her in and out of her church service.
The day after she died we noticed that 2 clocks in our house had stopped, one at the time she was born and one at the time she died, they were both analogue and the batteries were fine, we have since heard that it is quite a common thing to happen when someone dies. She let us know she is ok in her own special way.
She will always be in our hearts and we will always remember the perfect 15 days she gave us.
We miss you so much Amy and can't wait for the day when we see you again, all our love forever and ever mummy and daddy xxxxxxx
SPECIAL ANGEL IN HEAVEN
There is a special Angel in Heaven that is a part of me. It is not where we wanted her but where God wanted her to be.
She was here but just a moment like a night time shooting star. And though she is in Heaven she isn't very far.
She touched the heart of many like only an Angel can do. We would've held her every minute if the end we only knew.
So I send this special message to the Heavens up above. Please take care of our Amy and send her all our love.
